Michael Clarke Duncan... a vegetarian? Who would've guessed?

God needs a new name... a new title.

I just recently learned that the word God means "to invoke, or call upon", but this word carries much more weight than a simple phrase. It has a bad reputation amongst many people who are not governed by a religion, and even more so given this reputation by the unjust religious sects whose actions are founded on hate and discrimination... even though they claim to represent this 'God-figure' who is suppose to represent love, peace, acceptance and understanding.

I am run by no religion. I do not believe in religion, but I do believe in God... I have not always been this way...

But God, to me, is not a being in the skies waiting for the opportune time to strike down sinners with his mighty powers! No. God is Spirit. God is Life. God is all that was, is, and ever will be.

Is God misunderstood? I believe so. Both by those who claim to be followers and those who do not.

To me, God is the power behind the creation; in scientific terms, the power behind the Big Bang. This power behind the Big Bang scientists simply refer to as energy. And scientists tell us, in so many words, that this energy is all that was, is, and ever will be. In other words, while the universe may always be in constant change, moving, shifting, being created or destroyed, the only one thing that will always remain is this energy. Just the same as this God we speak of.

God is EVERYTHING!

But when I attempt to bring up anything in relation to God, using the title "God", people are offended. "I don't believe in God", they tell me. While yet, they tell me they believe in a "higher power". But isn't that the same thing?

No. It's not.

Why? Because man has carried out horrible, unjustifiable, disgusting acts "in the name of God". So, it's as though any time the title God is used, these things come to mind and push away anyone with the potential of believing in something greater. And I don't blame them. The Old Testament, which is still idolized by many Christians, LITERALLY worships SIN. And for any who would disagree, I strongly recommend studying the words of Jesus Christ in the New Testament...

My conclusion...? God needs a new title, one that separates itself from the despicable acts carried out in this name and the evils found in the bibles of the world but still gives credit to this Spirit for the truth and inspiration found in these same religious texts...

Why did God and the Devil fight over Moses' body?

Because Moses was worshiping Sin. And who was responsible for Sin; but the Serpent himself... This is why the Devil wanted Moses. But the righteous live by faith and Moses proved himself faithful.

God led Moses through Spiritual understanding, but the Devil distorted Gods message so that the message was misunderstood. Moses worshiped this being of light which was not God (2Corinthians 11:14). Moses was asked to build things for this God who could have "by His mighty power" created it in an instant (Acts 17:24), and it is demanded that they sacrifice animals for their sins regularly but sacrifice and offerings you did not desire (Psalm 40:6, Hebrews 10:8), but they were required by the Old Covenant, that which is referred to as the Covenant of Death that Jesus comes to put an end to.

If you study carefully you will find that there are times during Moses lifetime that the messages he receives often come in two's. You will notice that two different messages are given to Moses and while they may appear similar, a closer look will show you how contradictory they are to each other.

Contradictions are not presented in the Bible to test ones faith in God. Faith is absolutely necessary to lead a Spiritual life, but not blind faith that lacks conscience. The contradictions are there for those who want the truth. God's message is in the Bible, but you just have to look for it...

My Story

When I was younger, I hated religion to its core, didn’t believe a word in the Bible, and viewed Catholics/Christians as sick diseased people who practiced blind faith… dangerous. I found that the Bible promoted hate and judgement and that was not at what the world needed.

Jehovah Witnesses came one day and I mentioned some disturbing verses from the Bible to explain why I don’t care for it. They went on to tell me “what the Bible really means …” which infuriated me that they would assume their own interpretation so they could not be found wrong. The pride found in so many people blinds them, it sickened me. The Bible was an evil that needed debunking, so I made it my mission to open their eyes…

I studied the Bible extensively and would get into hot debates about it with these Jehovah Witnesses. At the end of each visit we’d both conclude that we needed to do more research and would come back with our findings the next visit. It was very educational and actually quite fun until they started bringing ‘back up’ Jehovah Witnesses who would only refer to the same ol’ “what the Bible really means is…” with no verses to back up their claims… So I stopped seeing them but continued my studies with means of educating others.

I continued to find contradiction after contradiction, but I also began to see a pattern that intrigued me; one that suggested there are two authors to the Bible (*gasp) and that perhaps these contradictions are in plain view for those who genuinely seek the truth to find it. My findings in the New Testament were even more significant. Some of which coincided with some New Age beliefs and so much more that were never made mention of, or at least that I never heard of before.

I was astonished at what the Bible actually taught, and so much more astonished at what was ignored by so-called Christians. What I previously hated in the Bible was confirmed to be something worth hating after reading the New Testament, I'll get more into this on a later post...
